This film was released on July 18th 1992 to critical acclaim
-King Kong is about an ape who has been captured in New York City by movie producer Carl Denham for use as a publicity stunt. Since this film stars Colin Firth, Helena Bonham Carter, Anthony Hopkins and Geoffrey Rush, it’s hard not to be drawn in by their performance that makes The King’s Speech such a well known film! The first one is King’s Speech, which was released in 2010 and stars Colin Firth as King George VI of England who has a speech impediment due to his father teaching him how speak with an American accent. It also won four Academy Awards for Best Picture, Best Actor, etcetera. A Little Princess came out seven years before it and tells the story of a girl named Sara Crewe who lives under her guardian Mr. Carrisford while attending boarding school during World War I until she meets a wealthy Indian boy named Prince Amhrosyad Singh and falls in love. The third one is King Solomon’s Mines, which was released in 1937 and stars Paul Robeson as a Canadian engineer who joins an expedition to the African country of Kukuanaland, where they are searching for gold and diamonds at the behest of a millionaire – played by Nigel Bruce. The fourth one is King Kong from 1933 with Fay Wray as Ann Darrow and Robert Armstrong playing Carl Denham.
