We can never be totally present. Everything that happens to us, our thoughts, our emotions, and our actions takes us outside of ourselves and places us in another place with another person or another time. As a result, we find ourselves increasingly disconnected from ourselves, and we’re stuck in a time and place that we’re not entirely comfortable with.
So you can’t really see the effect of our self-awareness—that is, we can actually see the effect of our self-awareness. If you want to know the effect, you need to go to the videos, or you need to do a really good job at it.
This is the most popular thing I do on YouTube, which is why I started the thread. There are over three hundred videos with over fifty thousand views on the thread. You can see the effect yourself if you do a search for biddirect and you’d get over three hundred results. You can also see the effect of self-awareness in other videos on the thread like the one where I got to shoot my friend in the face with a gun.
The main thing I do is to see if you have an idea of what the video is about. I want to know how much of a good movie I’m watching. And I want to know if I’m a guy or a girl, and if I can get a good enough picture of the camera and the direction of the movie. I’m not going to do that.
I have never seen the trailer for the Dark Angel or The Last Stand, but I’ll try to catch them later.
We have a bit of a similar thing going on here. We all have a bit of a feeling about what we see and what we think we see, but we don’t know what we’re seeing. And once it sinks in that it’s really happening, it may not be very fun to watch.
This trailer is really just a good read for us that makes it clear that the developers are working on a new style. The goal here is to create a cinematic experience that you can watch with a large camera.
The biddirect trailer was actually the last one we were able to give a play to, so we may actually be a bit more open to the idea of a cinematic experience for the game. The reason it took us a bit of time to get it done is because we had to do some pretty heavy lifting with the camera.
It is possible we will see the cinematic cinematic experience in Deathloop, but we’re not at all confident in our ability to do it. You’ll notice that the developer’s name is spelled backwards in the trailer, so it’s possible we may see a “biddirect” style of movie, but it’s also possible this was just a creative way of trying to call attention to the fact that we’ve been working on a new style.
Deathloop’s trailer is the first time we’ve heard the developers name it backwards. The reason for this is because the studio is using a biddirect style of movie to highlight the fact this game has been in development for over a year and we are just now finishing the game, so its only fair to let the fans know we are not backing down.
