Craig’s List is the world’s largest classified ads site. It has been around since 1995, and it has helped people find jobs, homes, cars, furniture and more! You can also use Craig’s List to sell your own things like a car or home.

Since there are so many users on this site, you have to make sure that your items stand out from the rest of them in order for them to be found by potential buyers. Here are some great tips on how to do just that:

1) Take good photos of each item – Photos are important because they allow potential buyers see what you’re selling in detail and decide whether or not they want it before making an offer

2) Describe the history of the item – If you can tell people who owned it before, what they used it for or where they bought it from, then this information will help them decide to buy

Getting Started with Craig’s List

Craig’s List is an online classifieds site where people list items they want to sell. It was created in 1995 by Craig Newmark and has since become the world’s largest classified ads service. The basic idea behind this platform is that anyone can place a free ad for anything, from cars to furniture to jobs. Interested buyers then contact the person selling the item and make offers or purchase it outright. If you are using Craigslist as a buyer or seller of goods, you should be aware of its features before diving into your first transaction. Here are some useful tips on how best to use Craigslist:

Read up on all terms related to transactions (read “Terms” at bottom).

You need to create an account before posting any ads. There is a free option and a paid $20 per month plan for more features such as unlimited text, larger pictures in the ad, no banner ads on your listing page, priority customer support among other things.

When writing up your description of the item you are selling or looking for, be sure to include all relevant information about it (size; color; condition).

Craigslist posts expire so make sure that you post them again periodically if they haven’t sold yet – there’s also an “expire” button next to every listing that will automatically update this date for you at 12 noon EST everyday.

Use caution when sending money via cash or wire transfer.

Don’t ever agree to meet someone in person for a purchase unless you know them personally or have checked out their online profile.

Keep in mind that there’s a safety net. If you get ripped off or scammed, Craigslist provides an email address to contact them about the issue and they will help resolve it for you.
