I’m not a huge fan of the new remote control. It didn’t matter which ones I was using and I hated how I could not control them. But it was so frustrating to not be able to control my television. I was always trying to turn the volume up or down or change channels. It was a pain to have to keep flipping my remote over and over again. It’s very easy to use, and once it is installed on your machine you can simply press the button on the remote to turn it on.
Some people, like me, get a bit upset about the fact that this remote is so easy to use and so cheap. It’s not. It really is that simple to use, and the fact that you can use it to change channels, change the volume, change the brightness, change the channel, and even change the picture is a testament to how powerful it is.
One more thing about that remote. It can also be used to set up remote playlists. So if you don’t want to put up with the endless ads on TV, you can just put up with those same endless ads on your computer. Which is actually more like what you’d expect from a product that has that many options.

Dameware is basically a web-based remote control. But instead of using it with your computer, you program it with your cell phone and then plug it into your TV. The TV shows you the remote and you just plug in your phone, and boom! Everything works great. It’s so good, it’s getting all the way to the top of my list of things to buy.
