Kingdom Hearts Shotlock List Tip #12 –
Aiming at a specific enemy to stun it with your shotlock.
You can use the right analog stick on PS consoles or left mouse click for PC players, in order to lock onto an enemy and aim them while using a shotloclk ability! Doing so will make Sora (or any other character) shoot out their attack only towards that one target from start to finish. This is great if you’re trying to take down bosses quickly without having worry about being attacked as well. Just be careful not too hold on too long before attacking because they may get away!
This list might seem like common sense, but these are some things I’ve learned from playing the game myself and watching other fellow players. So feel free to share what you know in the comments below!
Kingdom Hearts Shotlock List Tip #11 –
Using a shotlock during an aerial attack is good for chaining together combos easily.
If you come across any enemies that are low enough, Sora (or the respective character) will automatically jump down from his current position and land on them before unleashing their shotlock ability on them. This can be done with both physical attacks or abilities as well so if there’s two enemies close by then use your best judgement to decide who needs to get hit first! It may not always work out perfectly but it should give you some idea of how this combo works.
Kingdom Hearts Shotlock List Tip #12 –
If you can’t find the perfect spot to use your shotlock then try getting really close to an enemy and attacking them with a combo move instead! As I mentioned before the game will automatically chain together combos for Sora if he’s low enough so this should be fairly easy as long as you’ve got some good timing on that attack button! Keep in mind that enemies above Sora won’t do anything like this though, they’ll need more time spent underneath their feet first (usually during aerial attacks) before these two things are possible. One last thing to note is that anytime there is a “boss” or major boss fight coming up it’s always best to save your shotlock for the actual battle.
If you’re playing on a harder difficulty and Sora starts to run low on HP then it’s always best to either switch back down or at least heal up with some potions before going too far! This is of course true in general but doubly so if you don’t have that much health left already, because there will be more enemies around waiting to take advantage of your vulnerability now than ever before. Remember though that these things can also happen when running into an ambush from off screen thanks to secret passages too, which almost never has a save point nearby like bosses do (just remember not all treasures are worth getting). The important thing here is to be careful and not get too greedy when it’s time for a break.

Experiment with the different shotlocks! This is important because some of them can do more than others, like deal damage or heal you. You don’t always know what will happen until you try out all of them first so make sure to use as many in battle as often as possible! Different enemies require different strategies though, which means that we have yet another tip on this list: kingdom hearts shotlock tips!”
