Every day I get asked about how I am able to stay awake at work. I’m a big believer in what I’ll call the “self-aware” model of the brain. I have personally studied it since I was in college, and I have to say that it is extremely fascinating.
What is the self-aware brain? It is a brain that is able to self-monitor everything it does and monitor its own internal processes. This allows it to self-consciously monitor its actions, be aware of its own thoughts and emotions, and be self-aware of things going on around it. It is also able to monitor the actions of other people, monitor their thoughts, and be aware of their actions.
I can’t think of anything else that powers us that I haven’t personally studied, except maybe an ability to think about things that way.
A human brain is pretty darn smart to boot. It not only has a tremendous amount of processing power, it is also able to build and maintain complex relationships by analyzing and comparing the information that is being fed into it. In fact, there is even evidence that the very first human thought was a mapping of the entire universe into its skull.
A human could, if he took a deep breath and put his head down, turn around and look at the world. That would help to understand the things that we have to look at, because the brain is pretty much an electrical machine that can map a whole bunch of places in the universe. At the human level, the brain is more like a computer.
The brain is made up of billions of neurons, which are like wires, and each one of those wires can be connected to any other wire in the human brain. The fact that we can map a part of the universe into the brains of our closest relatives, and then connect the brain to the rest of the universe, is pretty amazing.
As the name suggests, emeeting is a mapping technique in which the brain is mapped into a whole bunch of other brains. It’s quite similar to the brain-to-brain interface, but instead of a brain being mapped onto a computer, the brain is mapped onto a computer. We’re mapping the human brain onto other human brains to be able to control the computer we’re on.
Yes, this is a cool technique, but it doesn’t provide any new information. Rather, it’s a way for us to connect, or at least understand, our closest relatives. But it’s a nifty technique. Who knows, we might be able to control our brains by connecting them to other brains in the future.
I believe in this. I think it is a huge step forward. Its like, “Okay, now that we have a computer, we can have a real conversation without the stuttering and interruptions of our phone. We can have a serious conversation with someone that we’ve never met in person.
