Marvel Contest of Champions is a game that many people play. The problem with it, however, is that there are so many characters and each one has different abilities. This can make choosing the best character for you difficult. That’s why we created this tier list! Here you’ll find out which characters to focus on as well as their strengths and weaknesses. So whether you’re looking to play against other players or just want to dominate the AI in story mode, this article will help you choose your perfect champion!

If you’re looking to play against other players, then make sure your team has at least one character that can tank or shield enemies. This is because these characters will protect the rest of your party and give them time to heal up when they run out of health. They also have a chance to stun opponents with their abilities which can be invaluable in battle! Characters like Hulk are great for this since he often launches enemies into the air and traps them there while his allies beat on them. Other good choices include Doctor Strange, Vision (in certain situations), She-Hulk, Star-Lord, Nebula, Thor and Iron Man; all of whom produce shields or put up barriers between themselves and their foes
“We are still testing and trying to figure out how he might be helpful in the long run,”
“I’m not sure if he’ll work as an off tank or on a team; we’re just waiting for him.”
“He could also work like a control character, but that’s something you can’t really rely on until after seeing his kit play out.”
“The big thing is getting Nebula up to her full potential. She has so many tools at her disposal – she used to have this ability where she would phase people into space and then teleport them back here” said Kangambe. “We’ve changed it around so instead of being able to do two different things with one skill, now she can do four different things with one skill.”
“The idea is that she’s so skilled in all these different areas, but we have to tease it out. It’ll be a process of figuring out how each of her skills can work together and what combos are going to play well against the other heroes.”
Quotation: “We’re not ready yet,” said Kangambe when asked about any upcoming character releases or potential hints for new content.
“You know as much as I do!” he added with a laugh before changing the subject to talk more about his favorite characters on Nebula’s team.
Heading: The Future of MCOC
Body: This week was focused primarily on balancing , which has been something they’ve wanted to do for a long time.
“We’ve been talking about balancing the game since we launched,” Kangambe said, “and now that it’s in place and working well, this is really where our focus has shifted.”
The first wave of balance changes are all over the board with some characters getting big buffs while others get small nerfs.
This change will likely have an effect on power rankings – but does anyone know who currently sits atop Marvel Contest of Champions’ tier list?
Body: With many top-tier heroes like Hulk, Magneto or Dr Strange making up their respective teams, there can only be one frontrunner – right? Wrong! The truth lies somewhere in between as different players gravitate towards various characters depending on the team they use.
For example, the prevailing school of thought is that if you want to win with a tank-based team then Iron Man and Ms Marvel are your best bets. In contrast, someone who favours an aerial or ranged approach might lean more towards Black Widow and Storm respectively. The only consensus so far seems to be that there isn’t one!
Though Kangambe’s statement may seem like a cop-out – it does make sense when we consider how complex MCoC has become in recent months thanks to the introduction of Instinct Mode (a kind of sixth sense which can help players see what their opponents are doing) as well as new characters such as Gambit and Spiderman 2099 joining Wolverine on top of the roster.
A simplistic way to put it would be that if all you want to do is win, then assemble a team of six characters from the top tier list and go with your gut on how best to use them. If however you’re more interested in experimenting or finding out what works for you – there’s nothing stopping you assembling an entirely different team using any character at all! And this will change from player-to-player depending upon their play style: Some people are naturally drawn towards ranged fighters, others may favour close combat specialists while some players prefer everything balanced equally between melee attack damage dealers and range/specialists.”
