The process of redesigning pricing or changing pricing is one of those things that may seem like an impossible task. The reality is, although you might be ready to do the work, you may not know how to do the work. It is a skill that takes years of experience to master.
It is also a skill that takes very few, if any, people who are willing to devote those years of their lives. However, that is not to say you cannot learn how to do it. The only way you can really learn to do it is if you are willing to put the work in (and, quite possibly, pay the bills).
We would like to give you a demonstration of how easy it can be to find a new home that is in the right price range. Our company recently completed a study of hundreds of homes in the Los Altos area and found that many of them ended up being just a little bit overpriced.
The study involved surveying all the homes in the area and then, using the same method we use in the office, asking our readers to input their price range for a home. We found that the homes that ended up being a little bit overpriced were those that were in the 100s of thousands of dollars; whereas the homes that ended up being underpriced were those that were in the tens of thousands of dollars.
So our readers may not be aware that the price range for a home is actually very small and a little bit underpriced. For instance, a home in the 100s of thousands of dollars could cost as little as $100,000. A house in the 10s of thousands of dollars could cost as little as $50,000. A house in the 5s of thousands of dollars could cost as little as $20,000.
It turns out that the price range of a home is actually pretty much a lot smaller. But that’s not a bad thing! It happens because we all remember the old prices. That’s why we’re not in a position to buy a home.
A number of people have come up with an idea that will make it a lot cheaper to build a new home. We can’t make it work. But we can build a home in the near future.
The good news is that for as cheap as we can make it, we can make it better. For example, if we were to build our home ourselves, we could add more rooms, create a pool, and a big deck. We could also remodel the kitchen, add a new bathroom, and add a new hot tub.
Its not as easy as just saying it and it will happen, but there are a lot of people that are really trying to make it work, so it will. And since we’re making money on the side, we can afford to build a nicer house (and probably also pay off our mortgage) and still make it cheaper to build a new one.
That’s what we’re hoping for with retool pricing in our new home. We can’t make a custom home on our own, but if we’re able to get the resources to build our own home, we can add additional rooms, remodel existing ones, and even add a pool, hot tub, and a new kitchen.
