Sins of Mine: Sharpen Your Knife

Sins of Mine is a blog about the food we love to eat. We’re not going to talk about how healthy it is or give you recipes for meals with 10 ingredients. In fact, most of our posts are just pictures and captions that celebrate what’s on your plate, whether it comes from a restaurant or a box in the freezer section at the grocery store. Our motto? If it tastes good, then we want more!

A knife is an extraordinary tool. It can be used to cook a meal, or it can be used to kill someone. A knife has the power to change your life in either way of the spectrum. There’s something about a good blade that always catches my attention and makes me want one more than I actually need. I love knives so much, in fact, that some people might consider me obsessed with them – but they don’t understand how much care and precision goes into crafting such a simple object as this stainless steel blade!

I’m not a chef, but I love to cook. And while I usually get good results from my experiments in the kitchen, there are times when it doesn’t go as well and that’s where this blog post will come in handy! It seems like every time I forget to sharpen my knives before cooking something, they end up dulling really quickly and then getting stuck on the food (or even worse – cutting into myself!). So for all of you out there who have been struggling with this problem or just want some easy tips, here is a list of ways to keep your knife sharp:

1) Use a steel rod after each use. 2) Store your knives away from metal objects so they don’t rub against each other and dull the blade.

I hope this is helpful in some way! If you’re looking for more tips like these, be sure to subscribe and follow me on Instagram @sinsofmineblog.

The most important thing about knife sharpening is that it’s not complicated—you just need a few minutes at the end of each day to take care of the knives.

I’ve been struggling with dulling my knife, and I’ve found a few helpful tips that can help you too!

A lot of people think that they can just use a knife for anything and everything. I know, because I used to be one of those people. This blog post is all about how you should never try to cut something with a dull knife- ever! You will regret it the moment you see the disgusting brown edge where your beautiful food was supposed to be.

I’ve been preparing this dish for years, and I’m confident that it’s the best way to prepare chicken. It doesn’t take long to make either – about 15 minutes total! The marinade is what makes this recipe so good. With a little garlic, salt, pepper, vegetable oil and soy sauce mixed together you get a delicious mix of flavors that will leave your mouth watering for more! For those who don’t drink alcohol or are just watching their calories then feel free to use water instead of wine in the marinade. This recipe is versatile enough that anyone can enjoy it without guilt.

This blog post introduces readers to how they can eat guilt-free with an easy meal prep idea (and an equally easy cooking method).
