The Alchemist Code is a mobile game that was released in the summer of 2016. The game has received praise for its deep storyline and addictive gameplay, but some players may be looking to improve their experience with the game by obtaining higher-tier characters. There are many tiers of characters available in the game – which tier should you focus on? In this blog post, I will discuss what each tier offers and how it can impact your playing experience.
Tier One Characters: These characters have the highest base stats and are generally recognized as the best available. However, these high level characters can only be obtained by a weeks’ worth of in-game quests or through an expensive purchase using gems (the premium currency). They are not recommended for beginners because they will take up valuable space on your team roster that another character could use to grow their potential.
Tier Two Characters: Often called “Fodder” or “Sidekicks,” tier two is made up of low level regular common units with little growth potential but decent base stats. If you need more fodder for your teams, this would be the tier to get them from; however, it’s often better to focus on leveling the higher tier characters since the fodder have low growth potential.
Tier Three Characters: This is the second highest level available and usually includes more uncommon units as well as a few rare ones. These are good backup or filler units for your team, but it’s often better to focus on leveling up your high tier teams first before getting these guys leveled because they don’t make much of an impact in battle due to their lower base stats than other tiers do.
Tier Four Characters: The lowest ranked characters that can still be used in battles (excluding the free starter Alchemists). They come with very low base stats which means that you’ll need to spend many hours at least leveling them just so they’re outfitted with decent gear. Tier Four units can be the most challenging to level up, but they still have a place in battles and are worth investing time into.
Tier Five Characters: This is the lowest rank of characters which cannot participate in battle other than as healers or unit supporters. They have very low base stats so it’s pointless to invest any effort into them, but some people like having them on their team for the sake of completionism or outfit purposes only.
Tier Four Characters: You can use these characters in battles, but the time and effort you need to put into leveling them up means that they’re not the best choice for someone who just wants a team of strong players. They have low base stats so it’s important to level them up at least once or twice before investing in any better gear.
Tier Three Characters: These are your mid range units with medium stat growths which make them more suited for battle than tier four characters, though still behind those from tiers one and two. It might be worth sticking with this rank until you start getting bored of the game if the grind is too much.
Tier Two Characters: This ranking has higher stats than tier three but the grind to get there is much higher. Tier two characters will have at least one evolution which means you’ll need good loot drops and a lot of time on your hands in order to level them up.
Tier One Characters: The top rank, tier one has the best stats that can be found in game for now – they’re really only outclassed by those from later updates or events with special units like Bahamut’s Scale. They also don’t require any evolutions so it doesn’t take as long to reach this ranking (though getting all five Runes might feel impossible).
