Welcome to the Best Pokemon of All Time Tier List! We have ranked all pokemon from best to worst so you can find out which ones are worth catching and which ones should be avoided. This list is a must-read for any pokemon trainer that wants to know how good their new pokemon will be in battle.
Top Tier – 100% worth catching and training no matter what. These pokemon are the absolute best in battle, with good stats across the board. If you only have room to catch one species from this list then these would be it! It’s hard to find a bad thing to say about them other than they’re rare breeds that can’t always be found so late in your journey.
Blastoise: Blastoise’s high defense stat makes it the perfect pokemon for when you need to take a hit. Its special attack and speed are also strong making this water type a well rounded choice in battle. You can find it by breeding Squirtle with Wartortle or Goldeen with Seaking.
Middle Tier – These pokemon have some strengths but they’re not quite as powerful as those ranked higher on our list, so catching more than one is recommended if possible! If your goal is to catch every pokemon then these will be worth including on your team until you reach top tier status. They’re still great creatures that should never be avoided at all costs because their stats make them worthy of inclusion into any trainer’s team.
Pikachu – You can’t have a pokemon list without including the iconic yellow electric mouse that’s been with us since 1996, and its strength is no exception. It has an above average speed stat for its type meaning it’ll be able to take out most foes before they get too close to you or your other team members. This plusstanding defense will make sure squirtles don’t hurt as much!
Lower Tier- These pokemon are still good but not very powerful compared to those ranked higher on our list of top tier pokemon, so catching more than one might not be recommended unless you’re going for every single one in existence because their stats won’t make them worth inclusion into any trainer’s team otherwise. Their stats may be a little too low to make them worth including in your team.
jigglypuff lv 12 and 15 (depending on game, pre evolution cut off point is level 18). This pokemon has one of the lowest stats in the entire list but it can learn sing which will be very helpful if you need some time to take care of other things like healing or catching more pokemon! If you do have this pokemon on your team, make sure to give it sing and don’t forget to use heavy items!
spearow lv 12. Similar story as jigglypuff except that its weakness is electric type moves instead of water types, so if you come across a raichu or mankey in the wild be careful because they will likely take out most low tier pokemon with ease.
zubat lv 18. This pokemon has one of the lowest stats in our list but can learn some very helpful moves like sludge bomb which can do significant damage against enemies who are either weak to poison or ground type attacks! It also knows mean look which could help keep opponents from running away while you make other decisions.
rattata lv 16. Rattata is a pokemon with high speed and decent attack, but has low defense stats so it’s best to use it as an offensivve type like previous pokemon on our list. It can also learn moves like dig which could be helpful for getting around the map if you need to get somewhere quickly!

This article will give some insight into these topics with clear examples and explanations so there’s no confusion for readers!
Tyranitar lv 75: There are very few pokemon who don’t fear this rock/ground type behemoth. It has amazing attack stat (and decent speed) which make up for its low special defense, making this guy great at taking down any opponent he faces without even breaking a sweat
