The Mighty Eleven: The Best Characters in Hyrule Warriors

The best thing about Hyrule Warriors is that there are so many different characters to choose from. There are eleven total, but only one can be the most powerful of them all. In this blog post we will rank each character based on their strength and determine who the true champion is! So if you’re looking for a new game to play, or just want some guidance in your quest for victory, here’s what you need to know before picking up a sword.

Link: the master swordsman of hyrule, his moveset is excellent and he can use all items with the exception of bombsZelda: she’s not quite as powerful as Link but her attacks are more varied making her a solid choice

Ganon: Ganon may be an evil man who wants to destroy Hyrule and prove it by killing off Zelda thrice! But even though there’s no chance that this dude has redeeming qualities, he does have some pretty good abilities in battle. His giant sword makes him one tough customer.

Toon Link: while Konohagakure isn’t exactly on your beaten path through Hyrule Warriors’ campaign mode, don’t overlook Toon Link! His moveset is based on his Wind Waker incarnation, and that means he can shoot arrows from a distance as well as go into bomb mode to do some heavy damage.

Young Link: with Toon Link’s popularity came Young Link’s resurgence! And though it may have been sixteen years since this green tunic clad hero had a game of his own, there are still plenty of good reasons for him being one of the best fighters in Hyrule Warriors. His signature weapon is the boomerang which does excellent work at keeping enemies off balance while you attack them relentlessly.

Tetra: she was once enslaved by Ganondorf but now Tetra has taken her rightful place among the warriors who fight against evil – or more specifically, the evil giant pig Ganondorf. Her swiftness and agility make her a formidable fighter both in skirmishes against small numbers of enemies as well as long drawn-out battles with hordes of them.

Linkle: Link’s female counterpart is totally awesome! Sure she can’t use some weapons like bombs or the hammer but that doesn’t stop this spunky girl from being an excellent part of any team you assemble to fight for Hyrule.

Ganondorf: he may be on our list twice, but it’s because he deserves two spots! His moveset has been updated so his skills are more fitting for fighting hundreds rather than dozens (or even just one!) enemy at once, making him doubly dangerous.

The Legend of Zelda series has always been known for its memorable characters, but the eleven playable warriors in Hyrule Warriors are some of the most iconic and beloved characters from all of video game history. From Link to Impa, Princess Ruto to Darunia, there is a character for everyone. They may not be your typical RPG party members with their own well-developed personalities, but they’re still pretty cool nonetheless.

A Link Between Worlds: He’s one of the most iconic video game characters ever, and is even playable in his own game!

Link to the Past: It would be weird not to have at least one link on this list. This guy has been around for a long time with some great games under his belt.

Impa: Impa helps lead Hyrule into battle against evil forces by giving her all on the battlefield. Her moveset takes advantage of her large reach with both melee and ranged attacks that can take out enemies from afar or up close, making it hard for foes to dodge them. Plus she rides Epona so you know it’s true love lolololo omg.

Darunia: Darunia is the head of the Goron tribe and is known for his fiery temper. His moveset reflects this by being able to launch fire attacks, while also using hand-to-hand combat. Plus he can throw bombs around like no one else because hey that’s what gorons do!

Princess Ruto: She has a lot in common with Darunia as she is princess of the Zora tribe and just like him her moveset takes advantage of both ranged and melee attacking capabilities.

Impa: Impa helps lead Hyrule into battle against evil forces by giving her all on the battlefield. Her moveset takes advantage of her large reach with both melee and ranged attacks that can take out enemies from afar or up close.

A new game has hit the shelves and it’s a huge one. Hyrule Warriors is an epic crossover of Nintendo characters from The Legend of Zelda series and Dynasty Warriors, making for a whole new adventure. It’s hard to decide which character you want to play as because they are all so amazing!
