His style makes him one of the most aggressive players in the game and as a result he has been banned from playing for four months because of excessive toxicity. Alexxander’s aggressive playstyle has made him one of the most feared players in the game and it is because of this that he finds himself at rank number one on our competitive e-sport player tier list for 2019.
The second spot belongs to Oleksandr “S0tFirE” Kutuzov, from Ukraine. He started playing competitively back in 2015 with Team Liquid but only recently became a full time member as their offlaner since 2017 when they picked up team Vega Squadron’s roster. His rise to fame was swift: after just two months he won his first major tournament – Dota Pit League Season 11 which led to being named Esportsmaniac Prodigy Player 2018 by Red Bull Esports Awards (the same year Team Liquid won their first ever Dota Major, The International 2018).
The third rank is shared by two players: Amer “Miracle-” Al-Barkawi and Mikkel “miCKe” Christiansen. Miracle-‘s outstanding abilities with the game earned him a spot on Evil Geniuses at his debut season in 2017 after being recruited from OG (OG had an incredibly successful year winning many tournaments including ESL Hamburg – one of Europe’s largest LAN events) while miCke’s previous experience as a pro player resulted in joining Fnatic who saw potential for success having just lost to EG in TI 2018. He was voted MVP of the EU region following his time there which led to another title win for Fnatic later that year when they won the SEA Championship.
Miracle- and MiCKe are both considered to be some of the top players in their respective regions with Miracle- being widely believed as one of Dota’s best carry players and miCke winning a The International 2018 title for Fnatic, proving that he was on par with other legendary European stars such as Tal “Fly” Aizik or Jesse “JerAx” Vainikka during his time there. With no TI titles under either player’s belt yet it is difficult to determine who ranks higher between these two but we can say they rank amongst the elite at this point in all likelihood due to accomplishments so far.”
Amer “Miracle-” Al-Barkawi – Miracle- is arguably the best player in Dota right now.
“MiCKe – MiCke has yet to win a TI title but he did win one for Fnatic at The International 2018. He also won last year’s Captain’s Draft tournament and was signed by Evil Geniuses.”
Tal “Fly-” Aizik – Fly is considered one of Europe’s most talented players, having played with Natus Vincere since their start in 2010 and winning two titles under them before leaving in 2012 alongside Puppey to form Team Secret where they would go on to become champions of four out of five majors as well as three consecutive Valve sponsored events including The International 2015. In early 2019 Tal left his long time teammates KuroKy & Eternal.
