top hat drawing – Harry Potter Style

How to Draw a Top Hat – Harry Potter Style:

1. Begin by drawing a large and round top hat shape on the paper, with the bottom of the hat coming off of the edge of your paper. The top should be tapering up towards you so that it’s not too wide at its base.

2. Now draw two curved lines going around from opposite sides, one on each side near the top end of the hat’s brim, curving down and inwards into points close to each other but not touching (looks like wings). These are called “brim folds.”

3. Next, draw three short lines starting from inside where those brim folds meet and then sloping outwards away from the top of the hat. These are called “brim folds.”

This is an example of content that should be written for the long-form content.

The top hat drawing is a simple, but elegant cartoon style illustration with a British feel to it! This top hat drawing tutorial will teach you how to draw one in a way that’s reminiscent of Harry Potter and other famous wizards from Wizarding World. In these steps we’ll show you step by step how to make this iconic headwear look like something straight out of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry! We’re going to use three basic shapes: circles, rectangles, and triangles (in order) as well as two colors: black pen/pencil & white or blue pencils.

So you think drawing a top hat is easy? Just draw an oval and add a brim. Wrong! Drawing a top hat in Harry Potter style requires some magic! Get your wand ready because this tutorial will show you how to create the perfect wizard’s cap for Halloween or any occasion.

First, start with two overlapping circles that are touching at the bottom. Add four lines coming out from the middle of each circle like spokes on a wheel (or petals on a flower). These lines should extend past the outer rim of each circle by about 3-4 inches. Cut off all but one spoke between both circles and make sure they’re even when measuring them against one another before cutting so it looks just like half of an umbrella shape .

To get the other half, simply overlap your original circles and align them with their “petals” touching. Make sure that at least one spoke remains between both circles each time you cut away a spoke in order to create a complete circle shape again. Then just use some more spokes coming out of the middle of these new shapes (or petals) to finish off this Harry Potter top hat drawing!

Finally, add a small dot where the two halves meet so it looks like they’re overlapping neatly and then fill in any gaps or holes on either side as needed. Voila! You now have an authentic looking wizard’s top hat for Halloween decoration or costume.I have been drawing a top hat, but instead of being black and the right way up, it is upside down. It has taken me forever to do because I am not used to holding my pencil that way! I’ve also drawn some eyes on it and made them blue with a little bit of white in the middle for pupils.

This is a top hat drawing with the shape of an umbrella. To get one half, use two circles that are touching each other and cut away spokes until you have a hole in the center from where to draw your spokes coming out on either side. You’ll need at least four spokes for this Harry Potter top hat drawing.

To make it look like there’s another circle overlapping these petals, just overlap them again- making sure not to cover up all your work! Then just add some more spokes coming out of the middle to finish off this easy Halloween decoration or costume accessory: a genuine wizard’s top hat!

I’m not much of a Harry Potter fan, but I thought this was so cool that I had to share it. Artist Graham Smith drew an image of J.K. Rowling’s classic character, Professor Dumbledore wearing a top hat and holding an umbrella, in the style of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s portrait on the 2007 U.K. commemorative coin (also known as the “Golden Jubilee” or “Diamond Jubilee”) honoring her 50th year as Queen – and he also did one for Lord Voldemort! You can check out both drawings here: http://www.grahamsmithillustrator.com/blog/?p=738 And get ideas for Halloween costumes, too!

Just thought I would share that with you. It’s just a small thing but it made me laugh.
